The ideal candidate would be responsible for performing daily ” Check calls” onloads in transit, handling customer related issues and inquiries, originating the necessary documentation for freight bills.

You willContact new customersFreight Brokerage and booking loadsBe responsible for customer acquisitionsDevelop and increase profitable volume with existing and newly acquired shippersBuild relationships with developing accountsUse strong relationships to understand customer’s business, better qualifying them to identify andsolve the customer’s problemsContact and build relationships with carriersIncrease capacity for specific projects and lanesGain up-to-date personal knowledge of market freight rates in order to determine a “fair” price to pay trucks and charge shippersOffer rates established by Senior Transportation Brokers and managementNegotiate as market demandsRecommend solutions for customers to Senior Transportation Brokers and/or managementIncrease the overall capacity for the office and companyDeliver exceptional customer serviceUphold the company standard following the company principles of Customer, Company, Office Skills and ExperienceCollege degree highly desired or equivalent experienceSelf-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environmentMinimum of 3 year’s experience in Freight Brokerage/customer serviceExcellent and effective communication skillsStrong customer service orientation and excellent work ethicAbility to quickly process information and make decisionsEffective negotiation and problem-solving skills, and ability to handle conflictExcellent time-management skills with the ability to multi-taskHighly organized and detail-orientedAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Join us in making a difference Allen Lund Company is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to diversity.
