Looking to hire an Account Executive with 2 + years sales experience for Emperia, Inc., a handbag manufacturer and distributor based in downtown Los Angeles. We work with major brands and retailers. Ideal candidates have previous sales experience, a strong ability to drive sales and build relationships with buyers, are extremely organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and very personable. Ability to successfully manage the product development calendar is must! Relaxed, casual environment with lots of potential for growth!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive sales in order to meet Company sales goals.
- Manage account relationships and resolve challenges through
consistent follow-up and outstanding customer service.
- Manage the product development and production process for all orders received to ensure PO’s are shipped in a timely manner.
- Think creatively and strategically to maximize current and
prospective account base.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum 2 + years of experience as an Account Executive or Sales Rep for a
contemporary brand.
- Customer service-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work efficiently, accurately and
independently on projects.
- Strategic, goal-oriented and highly motivated
- Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Programs,
specifically Excel.
- Understanding, appreciation and knowledge of contemporary fashion brands. Handbag experience is a plus but not necessary.
- Proven organization skills.
- Comfortable multi-tasking and juggling competing/changing priorities.
- Above all else, candidates must possess a can-do attitude and be team player.
