Be a part of an exciting opportunity to create a new Education focused vertical on AT&T’s Public Sector team! This newly formed organization will focus on engaging with and understanding K-12 and Higher Education customer needs, identifying business partners, expanding AT&T’s overall presence in the market, and delivering solutions.

To become a trusted advisor to Education centric organizations and institutions, this team will require experienced Education Specialists to focus on positioning and deal shaping of opportunities. As we rapidly and strategically build a best-in-class Sales organization, our team will consist of Education Specialists driving innovation within the segment and helping customers capitalize on and understand recent Congressional stimulus funding, and better enable existing AT&T account teams to position AT&T services within the Education market.

AT&T Public Sector is hiring a Client Solutions Executive IIII – Education Specialist

The Client Solutions Executive IIII – Education Specialist position will work with existing AT&T account teams to help acquire and grow our largest EDU customers. Involves regular interaction with existing customers and perspective customers in an assigned Education overlay module. Additional responsibilities include managing a sales funnel, productivity forecasting, and processing contacts.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for consulting with direct sales teams and customers to provide Education market expertise regarding the design, customization, implementation, and account management of AT&T products, services, and solutions.
  • Advises Education customers on suitability of products based on programmatic needs.
  • Collaborate with Education Account Team Managers / territory leadership to develop strategic territory plans.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and other engagements for Education professionals, whether Academic, Administrative, Research, and/or IT focused, as well as internal AT&T teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, or bids, including pricing intelligence, for highly complex solutions. Develops strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solutions/sale.
  • Partner and collaborate with sales, marketing, external affairs, and other entities to influence decision making processes for Education solutions.
  • May manage and coordinate the sales and/or technical team in support of the sale of highly complex products and services to a customer.
  • Spends time at the customer premises developing and presenting AT&T services and solutions.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of transformative IT products and services within the Education market, and experience positioning.
  • Participation in professional organization(s) relevant to education research, and/or IT administration.

Experience: 6-10 years of experience driving or developing complex technical solutions in both the Higher Education and/or K-12 environment. Ready to join our team? Apply today!
