We are currently recruiting for a dynamic Account Executive to seek out, develop, and close new business within the Indianapolis area.

We are looking for someone to identify and close new opportunities while organically growing the current book of business.

This is a hunter role.


· Develop new business through a variety of sales and lead development techniques.

This includes including cold calling, scheduling appointments, conducting sales presentations, and web-based technology demonstrations.

· Build rapport and maintain relationships with the book of business through regular professional contact, to include meals and entertainment.

· Collaborate with the operations support team to ensure our customers are enjoying positive experiences.

· Develop account pricing profiles and internally submit pricing requests for approval.

· Document daily sales activities into our CRM platform.

· Responds to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and ethical manner.

· Demonstrates excellent knowledge of RRTS services in all customer and prospect interactions.

Job Requirements

To be successful, candidates should possess:

· Two (2) years of experience with a less-than-truckload, truckload, third-party logistics company or in a related sales environment.

· Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

· Organizational skills, exercise good time management, and prioritize work assignments.

· Strong interpersonal skills with an entrepreneurial and creative approach to business opportunities.

· Basic PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
