Selva Negra: Fashion Design And Retail Intern

Fashion Design and Retail InternWe are looking for a highly motivated, curious individual to intern with us 2-3 days a week.

Selva Negra is a contemporary fashion label using ethical practices and sustainable textiles based in Los Angeles.

Our main office/store location is located in Eagle Rock, but our main production is based in downtown LA + Vernon.

This position has the opportunity for long-term employment.

We are a small team, so this position exposes many of the facets that go into running and maintaining a fashion business.

This position is ideal if you’re a recent college grad and or working toward a degree that is fashion/ production related.Responsibilities: DTLA / Vernon production runs Works with creative director to assist with any tasks pending for the week Fulfillment of online orders/ creating shipments (experience with Shopify preferred) Retail Sales Associate on weekends and occasionally during the week On-set photo styling assistant Help with Social Media: (Content building) Instagram and Facebook experience preferredYou: Must have a car and live near/around LA Must be available to work 2-3 days/week (including weekends) Must have 1 year experience working in fashion retail or design Have an eye for design/styling Proficient in G-suite Spanish-speaking is a plus Interested in sustainability/ ethical fashion Positive vibes!
