The Real Estate Analyst will be responsible for providing financial analysis support on new developments, acquisitions and portfolio recapitalizations.
The key objectives are to deliver on strategic growth plans by evaluating and processing new deal flow in a scalable, sustainable and professional manner while leveraging internal and external resources.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with and support the Development Manager and Development Team in evaluating, underwriting, and closing new development opportunities Provide transactional support for closing acquisitions, financing, recapitalizations and dispositions Help position the company’s development function as a best-in-class developer in senior housing through process improvement, historical analysis, organization and innovation Support the production of accurate and reliable deal, capital and investor reporting Please contact Jamie Benway with Robert Half to review this position.
Job Order: 03600-0011876117 Job Requirements: In collaboration with the Development Manager, assist in providing financial analysis, modeling and support for new developments, acquisitions and recapitalization opportunities.
Perform market research and analysis of demographics, market demand, and completion related to development and acquisition opportunities Assist in gathering and organizing due diligence and market data.
Maintain and organize shared data rooms Assist in the creation and assembly of investment memos, investment committee presentations, and other correspondence utilizing MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word In collaboration with the development and accounting teams, track project expenditures versus budget.
Maintain financial forecasts for active developments.
Research local property tax rates, local impact fees, and entitlement costs to ensure accurate reflection of total development costs Review third-party market reports to supplement the company’s proforma assumptions in order to make appropriate operating and expense projections.
Work with other members of the development team during the due diligence process to ensure issues related to the potential impact on project performance are reviewed.
