Chowbus is a fast growing, well-funded food startup headquartered in Chicago on a mission to help diners to discover new and exquisite dishes, and to give traditional mom and pop restaurants a fighting chance to succeed without compromising who they truly are. By building a super app, our goal is to be the one stop shop for everything related to food.
We’re looking for a Sales Representative to bring the best local and regional restaurants onto Chowbus’s restaurant technology platform. You’ll be focused on prospecting, building relationships, leading the sales cycle and closing partnerships with prospective restaurants while promoting the Chowbus brand. By understanding restaurants’ unique needs, you will develop a customized restaurant technology solution that helps their business thrive.
What You’ll Focus On
- Understand the competitive landscape and determine how to best position Chowbus Restaurant Technology in the market
- Research and qualify prospects that are a good fit for Chowbus restaurant technology platform
- Outbound prospecting via cold visit, calling, email, and marketing campaigns
- Work closely with sales management and leadership to develop targeted lists and opportunities to accelerate our sales process and results
- Hit assigned KPIs and goals that are not limited to, but including daily outreach quotas and newly onboarded partners per month
- Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospect’s needs
- Partner with your regional sales team to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
- Manage sales activities and results using Salesforce, our CRM tool
What You Bring
- Are bilingual in Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, or Chinese required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Value collaboration in team-oriented environments required
- Are comfortable working in a scaling startup environment and adapt quickly – a strong multitasker required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit with a competitive drive to win preferred
- Proficient using collaborative and internal tools preferred, or can learn them quickly (Salesforce, Slack, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Apps)
