Prep Cook

Violet Bistro, a 100-seat fine-dining French bistro, is seeking a friendly, experienced line cook to join our team!

Our ideal candidate has a passion for all things California-French, thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and takes joy in creating memorable guest experiences. They:

  • are hospitable, genuine and positive
  • can think fast and have a natural sense of urgency
  • are great team players
  • are reliable and follow through on their commitment to their work and team

Must have open availablility, mornings/afternoons. Must be a US Citizen or have permanent resident status; must have a Food Handler’s Certification.

Basic responsibilities include:

  • Following recipes and keeping consistancy with our dishes. 
  • Completing prep lists.
  • Maintaining a deep knowledge of all the ingredients and components of the dishes on our menu.
  • Maintaining stock levels and a hyper clean working environment.
