These sites should encompass all careertechnical training offerings.Facilitate, new,local and distant work based learning sites for students to obtainthe necessary workLog and track all work basedlearning hours for students in the work based learning program incenter information system (CIS).Establish anetwork of employers that consist of paid and unpaid sites. Thesesites should be both local and distant. The distant siteswill represent work based learning opportunities forstudents.Work with career technical traininginstructors to ensure students are learning the necessary skills tomaintain success on the WBL site.Attend allCRC and CIC meetings to ensure that consistent connections arebeing made with local employers and business to continueopportunities for students.Work closely withthe business community liaison at community events to publish andpromote the WBL program.Maintain a spreadsheetand other tracking documents regarding all students who areenrolled in the WBL program.Assess studentswork skills, appearance and articulation skills before they aresent to a work site.Conduct work basedlearning seminars with student s and instructors to highlight theimportance of the WBL sites and expectations of thesite.Education andExperienceRequirements:Associate’sdegree and two year’s relatedexperience. Directly related experience may beconsidered in lieu of formal education requirements. Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communicationsskills, and computer proficiency required.
