The Web Content Strategist owns WIKA USA’s website content management, blog, SEO, and PPC strategies and implementation.
This position serves as the point person for internal local subject matter experts, corporate contacts in our German headquarters, WIKA Americas marketing colleagues, and external agency partners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Work with Senior Marketing Manager, Campaigns and Communications and external partners to build, adjust, manage, and implement local SEO and PPC strategy, with input and support from corporate counterparts Monitor updates to corporate website and duplicate on US website if applicable to the local market; work with local Market Segment, Product Managers, and external agencies to evaluate updates Day-to-day management and optimization of WIKA USA Google Ads account, including allocating and maintaining annual, monthly, and daily budget Define, monitor, and report out internally on website, SEO, & PPC KPIs Serve as point person for WIKA Americas marketing teams/colleagues for SEO and PPC strategies and best practices Work to continuously improve SEO and PPC strategies, staying on top of industry trends and best practices.
Adjust WIKA USA strategy when applicable Lead and manage special projects related to company web presence, Google Ads, and digital strategy Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in media management, marketing, business administration, or information systems Experience managing websites required, experience with complex, B2B websites a plus Ecommerce management experience Experience with common CMS systems and relevant Google tools (Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, etc.) Ability to think strategically, both in the short-and long-term Collaborative, customer-oriented mindset Please note that applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
