The VP of eCommerce Innovation will be responsible for architecting eCommerce technology and data solutions and then integrating vendor products to enable clients to achieve their business goals. You will create a post pandemic eCommerce system for clients to meet their audiences’ modern Omni-Commerce shopping habits.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- In partnership with Night Market’s Consulting and Services VPs, set yearly & quarterly approaches to delivering the company value proposition and client OKRs.
- Establish a technical approach for complex enterprise grade projects, including technical briefs, designing system integrations, testing, launching, and optimizing vendor and partner eCommerce products and data capabilities.
- Accelerate clients’ eCommerce performance across marketplaces, retailers, DTC through technology and data innovation. For example: overseeing custom FB checkouts, integrating Profitero sales data with Kenshoo buying, architecting landing page optimization on Hybris, innovating live shopping with TikTok, building Response Curves to understand diminishing returns on investment, working with partners like Walmart and Google to launch beta programs.
- Be a source of knowledge and education for the Night Market team when they are working with products and data capabilities from vendors and partners like Walmart, LiveRamp, CommerceHub, Shopify, 84.51, VWO, Amazon, GA, etc.
- Establish yourself as a key company leader. Pitch, win, grow our clients’ businesses. This is a high-profile role that requires out-front leadership, setting best practices and helping manage this startup’s accelerated growth.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- 10+ years in a senior role as a marketing technology Product Management leader
- 5+ years in the eCommerce marketing space
- 5+ years in digital marketing data analytics
- Master’s Degree in Technology, Product Management or Business Administration is preferred
- As Night Market’s MacGyver, you excel at innovative problem solving that delivers results.
- Implemented e-commerce solutions with industry leading platforms such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Amazon, Walmart, Facebook, Pinterest in a Product Management and Data Analytics capacity
- Deep understanding of the technology and data analytics capabilities which can be leveraged in key eCommerce marketplaces like Amazon and eRetailers like Walmart, Kroger and Target.
- Strong analytical skills managing large amounts of data and ability to turn insights into actions. Exposure to machine learning practices. Curious and wanting to seek the truth in data.
- Strong technical skills with SaaS marketing and eCommerce products CommerceHub/Feedonomics, Profitero/Dataweave, VWO/GA, Kenshoo/TTD.
- Experience in presenting to and winning over senior clients. Excellent communication and social skills. Proven track record of building compelling presentations that excite and move clients forward.
