Virtual Assistant

We are looking for an assistant to provide event planning and administrative services for a company located in the Los Angeles area (Typically San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Ventura County).

This role is primarily remote, but may require attendance onsite for events as detailed below.

Responsibilities
Events Plan events out for the entire year on the calendar Build a plan to organize each event Make contact with venues and obtain pricing Secure venues and organize details Invite and follow up with prospects/clients Help organize and host during the event to allow me time to socialize and network Would be ideal to have somebody on-site (Typically San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Ventura County) Follow up with prospects/clients afterwards Client Retention Add all birthdays/special dates to calendar Organize and send cards/flowers/gifts Organize quarterly calls/check-ins Organize bi-annual entertainment/dinner for clients
Skills
Proven experience as an assistant working remotely or relevant role Familiarity with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services and VoIP Experience with word-processing software and spreadsheets (e.g. MS Office) Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g. Google Calendar) Excellent phone, email and instant messaging communication skills Excellent time management skills Solid organizational skills High school diploma; additional qualifications as an Administrator or Executive Assistant are a plus

Pay: $25.00 per hour
