Make a Difference

ASPCA Community Medicine provides access to high quality spay/neuter and primary veterinary care via our stationary and mobile clinics right in the communities that need it most. By providing accessible and fully subsidized medical care, Community Medicine Veterinarians play a crucial role in keeping pets where they belong: safe at home with the person who loves them. Community Medicine provides fully subsidized preventive and primary medical services to LA County’s most underserved communities with little to no access to veterinary clinics or other essential pet resources. Community Medicine is a radically unique approach to animal welfare, as our medical staff is encouraged to spend time building trusting relationships with clients and provide referral information for concerns that cannot be addressed in a mobile environment.
