As a PICC Nurse with VIC the PICC, you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting.

VIC the PICC Vascular Access Consultant RN’s will:
Place PICCs, midlines and peripheral IVs with ultrasound and use ECG confirmation.
Assist with management of PICC;s and vascular access devices Provide a wide range of vascular access including but not limited to port access, removal of CVC’s, declotting PICCs, etc.
Educate nursing staff regarding PICCs, Midlines and many other CVADs
In this role, you will be visiting patients in different facilities.
You must be willing to travel to patient visits and be able to participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.
On-call requirements are: two
– three days per week, including weekends and participate in the holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with current license
Minimum of 3 years experience in acute care preferred
Experienced in PICC placements with ultrasound
Have and maintain current CPR certification
Possess a current and valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Ability to work independently
Participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs
Must possess a smart phone
Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to patient sites
