Sigo Seguros: Siempre Contigo The Role As Underwriter, you will lead Sigo’s risk review and management of underwriting procedures for our Texas personal auto insurance program. It will be your mission to manage a profitable product while identifying growth opportunities to meet the needs of traditionally-underserved Spanish speakers in the US. The Underwriter will own underwriting guidelines and processes. The ideal candidate will bring insurance expertise, a frustration with the status quo, and a willingness to shake things up to this exciting opportunity to lead a category-defining insurance offering. Responsibilities Manage underwriting results and profitability Drive continuous innovation in insurance product underwriting Review data to determine risk selection, identify growth opportunities, and maintain underwriting guidelines Follow up with customers regarding underwriting needs Develop underwriting function with necessary processes and procedures to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines Qualifications 2 years of experience in underwriting Non-standard auto experience preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate and work closely in cross-functional teams.
