The What

As Training and Development Specialist, you will have a diverse and varied role.

Here are just some of the things you’ll be getting involved with:
Deliver Training: Prepare, facilitate and deliver training on our key products and systems to Travel Specialists across the US office network.
Identify needs: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to identify training and development needs, identify problems and suggest solutions.
Training material: Be responsible for the training materials, manuals, tests and training aids to ensure they are up-to-date and to maximise effectiveness
Measure success: Use feedback methods to monitor the success of training and employee engagement
Train-the trainer: Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and programs as assigned
Quality improvement: Work across functions to assist in the quality improvement TAG frontline travel processes.
Logistics: Plan and manage all logistics for small and large training groups in online and in-person settings.

You will report into the Agent Product Support Manager as part of the Operations team.

Collaborating with the global training team, you will jointly implement new and existing training projects and drive the improvement and optimization of policies, processes and system functions.

We work flexibly to accommodate our TAG team colleagues, meaning on occasion there could be requirements ‘outside of office hours’ to manage time zones and other work commitments.

As Training and Development Specialist there are several credentials and attributes which would be advantageous, but a determined attitude and willingness to learn, are equally important.
CPLP credential: A Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential is preferred
Previous travel industry experience: One year previous experience in the travel industry, as well as GDS experience would be a benefit
Teamwork: You need to be able to work across teams, locations and time zones, building strong relationships with those you are training.
Office 365: Microsoft skills would be advantageous.

You will be required to write and deliver your own training documents.
The Where and when

This is a full-time (35 hours a week) role based in the US with frequent travel to our offices in this region.

Since March 2020 we have operated a flexible, hybrid approach to working and will continue to do this moving forward.

We will work with you to find the best mix of office and home working that suits your life and the needs of the team You will report into the Agent Product Support Manager who is based in LA.

There are regional Training and Development teams based in the UK and Australia.
