In this role, you will continuously improve Bell’s global trade program through automation, process streamlining, training, risk assessments, etc.
This position must demonstrate a deep understanding of the regulations governing global trade and represent Bell to the U.S.
Government through the preparation of import and export approval applications and in person discussions about current and planned business ventures.
In this role, you will work with all functions– engineering, supply chain management, program management, sales, business development, government and commercial contracts, information technology, customer support, security, communications, and legal, and all global Bell sites.
This position is based at Bell’s Ft.
Worth, TX headquarters facility.
Position Responsibilities: Act as regulatory advisor to programs and junior members of the team Apply extensive experience with ITAR/EAR, ATF, and other regulatory agencies to navigate and influence policy concerns National Disclosure Policy/ Exceptions to National Disclosure Policy (NDP/E-NDP) supporting development programs Presentation/publication reviews Conduct risk assessments and assist in audits Perform sanctioned party list screenings Manage large projects Assess program plan deviations and course correct Collaborate, train, and improve/develop internal policies and procedures to address complex trade matters across the organization Maintain a positive work environment and actively collaborate with internal and external customers Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree is required Position Requirements: At least 8 years of work experience in the role of Empowered Official Extensive regulatory knowledge of ITAR/EAR, NDP/E-NDP, and US Munitions Import List (USMIL/ATF) Must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance Must be a well-organized self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work Demonstrated ability to work complex issues across departments, levels, and with external customers Experience identifying training needs and developing and delivering training to fill knowledge gaps Superior interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Excellent judgment and discretion Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as Certified US Export Compliance Officer CUSECO or other IIEI certifications Proficiency with SAP, ENOVIA, DECCS, SNAP-R
