Injury Claims Adjuster

As a member of the Producer’s National Corporations claims team, you will handle claims with an objective of determining coverage, liability, and damages through consistent, timely, and high-quality outcomes for insureds and claimants.

You will resolve injury claims with unrepresented parties and attorneys.

Job Duties: Deliver outstanding customer service through proactive claims handling in a fast-paced environment.

Adhere to claims handling process guides.

Review all files to verify coverage and liability accuracy.

Develop proactive plans of action to push resolution.

Evaluate claims with a focus on mitigation of risk.

Conduct thorough investigation to arrive at a fair settlement, including interviews with insureds, claimants, and witnesses, consultation with police, review of hospital records, and inspecting vehicle damage.

Maintain contact with injured parties or legal representation to determine injury severity and treatment status.

Responsible for handling time-limited demands and reviewing all constraints and stipulations.

Skills: Strong negotiation and settlement skills.

Detail-oriented and inquisitive.

Excellent written and oral communication skills with individuals from all backgrounds.

Customer-focused orientation modeling patience and empathy.

Ability to make independent decisions and use proper judgment.

Ability and willingness to handle cases of increasing complexity and severity.

Self-motivated team player.

Ability to use several varying methods for claims investigations.

Education/Experience: Preferred graduate from accredited four-year college or university.

Adjuster licensing required.

At least 2-3 years’ experience with handling injury insurance claims.
