We’re seeking strong software technical skills, solutions, communicator, and someone that gets excited about taking teams to the next level.The ideal candidate will be an expert at leading projects through all phases including planning, architecture, and engineering.
The individual will be a leader from the front, a coach, and a mentor to other team members.
They will need to be an excellent communicator, know how to professionally interact and work with all other disciplines, including clients, business development, sales, project management, user experience, and design.Primary Responsibilities:* Manage up to 5 Team members within an engagement; typically assigned to 1-3 engagements at a time* System and Data Architecture for commerce clients* Project scoping and estimation* Develop staffing plans for a variety of workstreams* Set process, expectations, quality of work standards* Find opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness measurement* Standardize technology approach and implementation process* Grow, mentor, and train Technology staff* Creative problem solving* Collaborate with Project Management on staffing, team performance, and client satisfaction* Recruiting and continual building of teamExperience Guidelines:* At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying web sites and applications* At least 2 years experience managing a team of web/software developers* At least 2 years experience as a senior technology lead or architect* 1+ Years Commerce Platform experience* Experience with providing solutions based on business and technical requirements* Ability to manage both on-site and remote developers* Experience with open source technologies including PHP, Python, JavaScript* Experience with eCommerce platforms including Shopify Plus, Magento Enterprise* Working knowledge of DevOps processes and best-practices* Content management system integration and custom developmentAbility to take ownership* Ability and experience provide leadership and direction* Comfortable collaborating with designers, front-end developers, and other team members* Object-oriented design and development strategies* Web services experiences is a bonus* Proactively manage risk and hold team and self-accountable for deliveryAbout ZEHNERBased in Los Angeles, Zehner is a full-service eCommerce digital agency.
