THE ROLE
Sitting within the North America Finance Department, you will report directly to the North America Finance Manager, and will be primarily responsible for supporting AllSaints compliance service providers to prepare and file applicable tax returns.
The role is also expected to provide first-level/line support to AllSaints US and Canadian personnel as it pertains to tax concerns/questions/issues, and liaison/support in the event of escalation to higher-level/line support.
Job Responsibilities:
Supporting AllSaints compliance service providers to prepare and file US Business Income Tax returns, State and Local Income Tax (or equivalent) returns, State Sales and Use Tax returns, and Local Business Personal Property Tax returns Supporting AllSaints compliance service providers to prepare and file Canadian Federal and Provincial Income Tax returns Supporting the Group Tax Manager to prepare and file Canadian Provincial Goods and Services Tax (or equivalent) returns Providing first-level/line support to AllSaints US and Canadian personnel as regards tax concerns/queries/issues and liaison/support in the event of escalation to higher-level/line support; Assisting AllSaints compliance service providers and/or AllSaints personnel with audits/enquiries; Auditing the application of AllSaints transfer pricing policies in the US and Canada, and Supporting the Finance Manager and/or the Group Tax Manager on ad hoc tax mitigation/ planning/compliance projects Opportunity to work directly with the Group Tax Manager to learn additional aspects of the global business.
Involved in various ad-hoc projects, and will prepare various analyses, reconciliations and reports.
Skills and Abilities:
Disciplined approach and attention to detail, but keen to develop further Self-starter/Able to work autonomously/independently Ability to quickly build strong relationships across all levels Good communication skills; written and verbal
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; CPA preferred Minimum 3-5 years of relevant practical experience of US (and ideally Canadian) tax
ABOUT THE STORE AND TEAM
Our North America region is made up of 76 retail locations across the US and Canada with our flagship store in SoHo, New York City.
We are primarily based out of our Los Angeles studios, bringing our brand infamous aesthetic to the West Hollywood hills.
