Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Description

Ajilon is currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition to join a large aerospace company in Torrance, CA. You must have at least 5 years experience in HR and 2 years experience in recruiting to be qualified for this role.

Pay Rate : $60/hr

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates all aspects of internal and external recruitment and selection processes for both professional and hourly positions for the company’sFastening Systems, California locations.
  • Develops job description/posting in conjunction with hiring manager.
  • Posts all positions on the applicant tracking system, coordinates interview schedules and candidate travel arrangements, tracks applicant flow, and coordinates administration of various pre-placement screening processes.
  • Participate in the development of an apprentice program for hourly employees.
  • Carrying a requisition load of 25+ positions in a fast-paced environment
  • Establishing priorities, managing deadlines, exercising a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external clients
  • Being detailed oriented with strong project management, organization and time management skills
  • Influencing co-workers and customers
  • Learning our products and services to attract key talent
  • Using technology to identify new candidates, building relationships, and maintaining a talented pool of candidates
  • Strong knowledge of the Internet and all Microsoft Office applications
  • Enforcing and providing guidance on OFCCP policies, procedures and best practices to internal customers
  • Identifying and championing recruiting best practices such as tools, technologies, customer service, policies and procedures
  • Using talent acquisition analytics and industry best practices to communicate and/or educate operational leaders
  • Exceeding key talent acquisition goals on a consistent basis
  • Supporting Talent Acquisition Management team on ad-hoc projects geared towards continuously improving our processes and services
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum 2 years recruiting experience and 5 years Human Resource experience.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with OFCCP hiring policies and guidelines
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • HR Experience in a large global corporation
  • Experience with talent acquisition data analytics
  • HR Experience in a manufacturing environment
