JOB SUMMARY: Oversee the implementation of Healthcare facility and Medical Office security systems and technology integration.

This support includes consulting, assisting & tracking master system architecture for local Security Administration teams in order to achieve logical collective implementation.

Provide Contractor/Local Security support for programming or bringing systems into operations.

Maintain Security System Server Software Licensing.

Provide liaison for Local Security and Systems designers and manufactures.

Ensure design/construction projects are consistent with industry best practices as well as NFS design standards, scope, schedule and budgets.

Reinforces the direction of Healthcare facility Systems, and develops relationships with IT, Local Security & Contractors in order to maintain system efficiencies.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
Primarily performs exempt duties in a service capacity; may be assigned a service grade or rank in a chain of command in conformance with contract requirements or to facilitate the delivery of service according to business necessity.

Maintain documentation of the security system configuration

Provide technical & troubleshooting support, coordinate problem tracking and resolution

Security Systems Auditing

Fulfill the Responsibilities, Qualifications, Competencies, and applicable Addenda of subordinates or designated staff

Act in the absence of the Account Manager, when directed
6.

Assist the Account Manager in systems administrative or functional tasks as directed
7.

Interpret applicable policies and procedures based on existing circumstances

Supervise subordinates so they perform their functions effectively

Review and oversee corrections to appropriate subordinate’s reports

Evaluate and document subordinate’s performance

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
Minimum 5-years experience in working as a systems administrator with extensive knowledge in server applications and
extensive knowledge in system administration functions.

3-5 years project management experience, particularly in the multidisciplinary field of construction services or information technology, dealing with installation timeliness, budgets and building schedules.

Extensive familiarity with blueprints and standards and wiring diagrams; Working knowledge of security systems; Experience with current software programs such as Windows NT or 2000, SQL, MSN Office including MSN Project; Prior experience in the development of comprehensive training programs for service line staff.

Must be experienced or capable to become knowledgeable about applications for security, communication and safety systems; Prior experience in the development of comprehensive training programs for service line staff.

Knowledge of communication systems to include two-way radios networks

Must have the ability to plan, organize and implement administrative and operational programs and procedures, which includes the development of budgets.

Must be Computer literate.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION

Must have valid Government issued Driver’s License or valid state issued I.D.

card, Bureau of Security and Investigative
Services Certification or Guard Card.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as police reports, local and state law, instructions and procedure manuals.

Ability
to write accurate, clear and concise crime, incident and investigative reports.

Ability to communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, employees and visitors.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent.

An in-depth knowledge of security & standard IT applications is preferred.

Knowledge, training, and/or experience in access control Security Systems, Security and Safety issues and standards as set forth by OSHA and TJC (The Joint Commission) is preferred

SYSTEM PLANNING & STANDARDIZATION-
Maintenance of System Standards in regards to;
o Naming Conventions
o Programming standards

o Access Group & Level strategies
o Alarm configurations upon request
o User permission levels
o Hardware Configuration
Perform Semi-annual review of System software and help evaluate needs or benefits
Perform licensing audits by comparing existing equipment with licensed devices

SYSTEM EXPANSION-

Provide programming, configuration, and testing assistance necessary for System expansion
Actively participate in security installation projects to ensure standards are met.
Commission new projects
Administrate Lenel user accounts & permissions

MAINTENANCE & HEALTH MONITORING-
Monitor System health such as hardware functionality & connectivity
Perform and maintain back-ups, assist with disaster recovery
Verify that all correct services are running
Manage database transaction and error logs
Review Lenel error log files
Check databases size and integrity
Assist with software application and service pack upgrades
Work with Local IT for application administration.
Work with approved vendors to maintain security systems

TRAINING-
Perform User training for Security Personnel and other System Users

DOCUMENTATION & PROCEDURAL DEVELOPMENT-
Maintain documentation of the security system configuration
o Server information
o High level passwords & User permission levels
o Software versions & license numbers
o Equipment configuration & location per Server
o Firmware versions
o Dates that equipment was put into service, vendor of record, and warranty period
o Publish Customer specific programming standards & practices
SYSTEM REPORTING
Generate administrative & investigative reports
Run specific audit reports
Assist with Video clip and image recovery when required

TROUBLESHOOTING & TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE-
Provide technical & troubleshooting support, coordinate problem tracking and resolution
Coordinate with customer IT department to assist with resolution of IT related problems
Maintain a log of outstanding hardware and software issues

SYSTEMS AUDITING
Audit SOC performance
Audit System alarms weekly
Audit all hardware devices.
Audit Video recorders monthly
Attend Monthly Systems Peer group meetings.
Give area updates at monthly systems peer group meetings.
