About The Role
DoorDash is looking for a Security System Administrator (Level I) to join the Global Safety and Security team.

As a remote role, you will be tasked with learning our space and taking responsibility for working with the system administration team to provide programming and commissioning support.

This support includes setting up and testing of physical security technologies at new sites being built out here and abroad.

Another area of focus and responsibility is technical support for the physical security technologies (video management and access control systems) in use at DoorDash.

This includes user, software and device administration, and maintenance as required to support a healthy system.

We perform troubleshooting, and coordination of troubleshooting efforts with remote field resources, service ticket reporting, and escalation.

This role will directly contribute to shaping industry-leading Global Safety and Security systems and technology, programs, and support.
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…
Be responsible for the setup, configuration and testing of DoorDash access control and video management systems, system controls, and related subsystems, as well as ancillary security products and countermeasures in our technologies around the world Monitor and maintain the security systems, including health checks and proactive maintenance procedures in our technologies around the world Have many opportunities to learn a new trade and expand your knowledge Troubleshoot access control and video platform issues, including software issues, alarm events, and remote resolution, coordinating repairs with vendors as needed in our locations around the world Perform system-level user management, including user adds, changes, access level maintenance, and permissions management Support and adhere to policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and process maps to maintain compliance, train personnel, and document system operations Provide security systems support to remote teams to include system design, vendor coordination, and final testing Coordinate service requests and maintenance with system vendors, ensure prompt action is taken, and follow up on all pending issues Provide security support during an emergency and non-emergency situations Perform a variety of system, administrative, or operational tasks within the organization

You have a college degree in a technology related field (IT, Computer, MIS) and have a passion for all things technology!

You have working knowledge in the administration of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Server, client, and AD) You have excellent verbal and written communications You have the ability to multitask and prioritize, and handle emergency situations You have the passion to learn new things and tackle new challenges You have excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor You are a G Suite and Slack power user You can perform on-call rotation duties and are able to travel as required (domestic and international) to support operations and meet training requirements You are flexible around work schedules and can work off-hours when necessary to complete operations and services critical to the business
