To assist in nursing care activities and institutional services under the direction of the Surgeon and Registered Nurse according to the job description and policies of the department. Function as a member of the surgical team to scrub or second-assist. Is a self-motivating individual, and maintains a courteous and positive attitude. The individual will also perform GI Lab duties, provide patient transportation, assist GI procedures, etc.
Job Requirements:
Full time position, variable shift.
Graduate from Surgical Technician Training school, or LVN with scrub experience. Surgical Technician license preferred. Must have a current BCLS card. One to Two year’s experience in OR preferred. Previous GI procedure experience and arthroscopy preferred.
