Primary Role and Responsibility:We are looking for aSupplyChain Analyst IIto help us bring innovative lighting technologies to market that solve many of the industry’s constraints and points of friction. These technologies will be incorporated into architectural-specification-grade lighting products that will be used by world-renowned lighting designers to create the most beautiful spaces on Earth. In an industry ridden with me-too products that just offer more options and no new solutions, this technology is poised to give infinite solutions with few decisions.Plan and optimize finished goods, subassembly, and raw material inventory liability while maintaining continuity of supply to achieve world-class on-time delivery for customers while minimizing logistic costsPerform mid-term and long-term planning for Make-To-Stock and Make-To-Order materialPerform short-term planning and allocation to sales ordersWork cross-functionally with North America and Asia-based teams to drive and to align weekly production plans across the supply chain network, resolve supply issues, and facilitate clear to build reviewBalance supply and demand plans by analyzing inventory days of supply, potential excess and obsolescence, and other key metrics to come up with inventory targets at multiple levels of indented Bill of Material structuresCoordinate the logistic supply signal to support the transportation of products between Asia, the United States, and the European UnionAnalyze customer sales history to identify market trends and to highlight variances between demand and supply signalsCreate and maintain configurators that generate Make-To-Order customer-facing SKUs, enabling world-class manufacturing that allows for customer fulfillment within two weeks from order creationStreamline supply chain processes, such as implementation of MRP functionality and support the ERP system implementation/enhancementManages monthly Supply Chain KPIs in Executive DashboardSupports other supply chain functions to enable full Product Life Cycle planning, such as NPI supply chain readiness, component cost downs, special customer requests, and EOL managementRequired Skills/Qualifications:Advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL expertise requiredExperience with BI analytical tools; Sisense preferredExperience planning in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment preferredBachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline4-7 years of supply planning or supply chain management experience with proficiency in supply chain concepts, including how demand/supply planning impacts other functions of the businessStrong problem solving and analysis skills with dedication to detail and accuracyStrong communication and organization skillsExperience using MRP/ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferredKnowledgeable with PLM systems; Arena experience preferredSome experience in Advanced Planning System is preferredKnowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand planning, supply planning, procurement, distribution management, and replenishment processes preferredPlanning and interacting experience with local and Asian suppliers preferredAbility to work is independently. May assume a key member role for the work group.
