Supply Chain Specialist
– The Supply Chain Specialist (SCS) isresponsible for supporting the buying and delivery process of goods and theplacement and delivery of purchase orders.

The SCS is responsible for theplanning, daily management, reporting and compliance with AUS policy andprocedures for the logistics functions in all Care Centers.

The SCS’s responsibilitiesinclude procurement, transport, administration, asset, and property management.Duties: Functionsas a liaison between the vendors and offices to ensure that orders aredelivered and/or expedited on time as requiredResponsiblefor assigning purchase order numbers Responsiblefor researching and initiating disputes with vendors, including tracking,monitoring and resolving the pricing/delivery disputeResponsiblefor the IOS compliance reporting, including buyer communication and IOS trainingCuttingany waste and unnecessary costs to create a streamlined process Workingwith suppliers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost effectively Buildingstrong working relationships both internally and with key suppliersUnderstandingtechnology and managing IOS item maintenance Fosterclose working relationships with associated departments e.g., Administration,Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, etcRecommendsimprovements purchasing methods and IOS enhancementsProviderecommendations to the department Director for procedural or policy changes toenhance logistics effectiveness, internal controls or cost efficiencies Whennecessary, STOCKPILE coordination, staging shipments, creating Exceldocumentation for each shipment, and physical inventory.
