GENERAL SUMMARY

Conducts day-to-day strategic activities on Lexus national and regional advertising.

Creates briefs, strategies, POVs, presentations, research reports, and other strategic deliverables.

Works closely with analytics, creative, media, and account teams to create remarkable work that’s on-strategy.

Sometimes presents briefs and strategies to day-to-day client teams, with support from senior team members.

Actively grow planning skill set and abilities by taking on more challenging and independent projects over time.

This individual is a strong subject matter expert on client business, category, and consumer insights.

This person will work closely with research, qualitative and quantitative.

They must have great writing and presentation skills, be fluent with data, but also able to tease out a broader story from it, manage multiple work-streams independently, and collaborate effectively.

Day to Day:
Responsible for searching for new ideas, insights, and observations that help to inspire creative thought Develops creative briefs.

Writes strategic arguments and stories that lead to productive creative ideas Supports research projects.

Participates in the qualitative and quantitative research projects lead by Lexus’ Marketing group and the Strategic Planning department Conducts persuasive presentations during internal, and sometimes client, meetings.

Prepares insightful, visually compelling decks Builds relationships with creative, account, analytics, and media partners to drive a strategic idea through all elements of a project or campaign Writes and secures business effectiveness award case studies Monitor industry news and trends.

Proactively share insights with team members Support senior members of planning team on ad hoc projects and requests

Experience: Minimum one to three years of experience working as a strategist.

Past experience could include planning at another ad agency, working as a brand consultant, working as an independent researcher or with a research company.

Education: College degree is strongly preferred.

Skills and Abilities:
This person must be highly organized, curious, fast-learning, articulate and analytical Willing to travel for work Compelling speaker, writer, and presentation builder (including the visual storytelling of a presentation) Strong collaborator
