Technical Lead for Distributed Autonomous Mission Management (DAMM) Internal Research and Development. DAMM is defining the future of automated mission planning and mission management, along with the architectures they will support. Such approaches and architectures will require both highly optimal network-centric methodologies, along with smartly designed capabilities and features for distributed and decentralized functionalities. This project investigates advanced mathematical algorithmic approaches for accomplishing these goals, aiming to support our government customers in moving their systems and enterprises to the next levels of automated mission planning. Basic Qualifications:
* PhD or MA/MS degree in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering with 14 years of experience in the application of advanced mathematical techniques and algorithms to aerospace/defense systems
* Active TS/SCI clearance
* Experienced/familiar with mathematical modeling of sensor, tracking, communications, and related systems.
* Facility programming in MATLAB, Python, Java
* Experienced in setting IRAD goals and milestones that align with business needs
* Experienced leading R&D teams and providing technical guidance to more junior engineersOther Qualifications:
* Familiar with modern SW processes and infrastructure, e.g. Agile, DevOps, etc. Salary Range: $156,000 USD – $234,000 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
