The Role 

BuzzFeed is looking for a proactive, self-starting, and energetic Operations Coordinator to assist in project management and general administration across BuzzFeed International and Studio businesses.

In this highly collaborative role, you will ensure that our business operations are organized and coordinated to the highest possible standards.

This is a full-time position based in our LA office, reporting to our SVP Global Content & Head of BuzzFeed Studios.

You Will 
Manage key projects across Studios and Global Content, ensuring milestones and deliverables are successfully met Assist a senior executive in management of their calendar, special projects, and travel.  Schedule meetings, ensuring BuzzFeed senior executives are fully briefed Join meetings to take notes and clarify internal next steps, when required Oversee freelance contracts and invoices, tracking payment with accounting Oversee the international production credit card program Maintain and update internal documents and databases  Create internal process documents and review existing processes for efficiency and clarity Review business processes across Studios and Global Content and ensure optimization, advocating for process change when necessary.

Review scripts and business proposals for consideration Collaborate with other members of the Ops, Production, Studios, and Global Content teams on ongoing projects Create polished, dynamic presentations for internal and external audiences Manage key projects across Studios and Global Content, ensuring milestones and deliverables are successfully met
You Have
2-3 years of relevant experience at an agency, media/publishing company, network/studio, production company, or startup.

High attention to detail Superb communication skills, both written and oral Experience liaising with studio executives, talent reps, talent, producers, and directors A working knowledge of video pre-production, production, and post-production A strong comfort level prioritizing and managing a high volume of work The ability to work autonomously and in teams  The ability to treat highly confidential information with care and discretion High emotional intelligence and the capacity to collaborate with diverse working and communication styles Knowledge of web integration tools, Google Sheets, presentation software.

Photoshop a plus.

Passion for and understanding of social media platforms and trends a plus A proactive, scrappy, creative problem-solver a hunger to get things done A “no haters!” philosophy
