Sr. Copywriter

nnCBDfx is looking for a highly-talented senior copywriter to craft high-level digital content, manage an editorial calendar, and work with a junior to execute compelling copy for the hottest CBD brand on the market today.

At CBDfx, you’ll join a young, fun, successful, and super-fast moving company full of creative people dedicated to bringing high-quality CBD products to markets around the globe.

Wellness is at the heart of everything we do-from gummies to capsules and tinctures to topicals, we’re constantly innovating to create the most effective CBD products available.nn nn n nn nnAs the Senior Copywriter, you will research hot topics around the CBD industry and draw on digital content marketing best practices to come up with endless ideas for new articles and features that add value to our customers.

In addition to ideating new blog topics, you’ll be responsible for writing e-commerce focused content for new products, editing junior copywriter content, and supporting marketing and advertising campaigns such as social, email, and landing pages.

You’ll work closely on a daily basis with the marketing and executive teams to make an immediate impact on our brand voice.

Finally, you’ll be responsible for formatting and publishing content to our US and UK websites using WordPress and Shopify.nn nn n nn nn n nn nn Skill Set nn nn n nn You’re an A+ writer with an impeccable grasp of spelling, grammar, syntax, and narrative flow; and you’re as comfortable editing others’ copy as you are creating your own You possess deep knowledge of digital content marketing best practices and how they relate to editorial choices, including funnel stages, readability, SEO concepts like keyword density, and more You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience managing a high volume of work across multiple campaigns You are familiar with the digital content needs of major online brands, preferably with experience working for an e-commerce website You have substantial experience publishing content on WordPress and Shopify You have proven success creating digital content from start to finish including blogs, articles, core webpage content, display ads, and other digital marketing copy You’re comfortable being responsible for maintaining consistency of “voice” and how a brand is represented across channels and countries You have a strong understanding of how to use performance data to the benefit of creative executions, while never compromising brand standards nn n nn nn n nn nn Requirements nn Minimum 4-6 years of experience creating branded content for an ecommerce or DTC company (preferably CPG), setting and executing content strategy, and managing an editorial calendar Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in English or a related Humanities discipline A masterful grasp of spelling, grammar, syntax, and narrative flow.
