For this position we are looking for just the right person to come on board. Our content that we produce is the soul of SportTechie. We are seeking someone willing to get in on an online content startup at an exciting time in our company’s lifespan and help scale our content.
Job Description

• Take on an entrepreneurial challenge and help run an established startup

• Manage and teach a team of Journalists; proofread and edit their content

• Learn from and work closely with SportTechie’s President; learn how to manage other writers, create and forge business partnerships, online content management, social media marketing, journalistic interviewing skills
Tasks
• Meet regularly on or near campus with SportTechie President
• Manage your own network of sports tech journalists to contribute regular content to SportTechie
• Carefully proofread writer’s content and offer feedback and writing tips
• Format content in WordPress and prepare for publishing
• Create sports tech topics for writers
• Stay on top of the latest sports industry news and keep readers informed
Qualifications
• Strong writing skills and sports knowledge
• Strict attention to detail
• Daily ability to answer emails and work with writers to produce quality content
• Must be a regular reader of online news and editorial content
• Strong grammar and proofreading skills
• Comfortable with giving advice and constructive criticism
