SHIPPING HANDLER
P.F. Candle Co. is seeking a full time Shipping Handler to be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate shipping of wholesale orders. Full benefits include 401K, Health insurance and options for dental and vision. Main responsibilities include pulling and packing orders and various other warehouse clerk duties.
Position
: Full-time
HOURLY WAGE: $17.00/hour
START DATE: ASAP
DUTIES:
- Fulfillment of national and international accounts, including Urban Outfitters, Crate and Barrel, Nordstrom and various distributors around the world.
- Picking and packing orders for wholesale accounts.
- Assembling cartons to pack items with care and attention.
- Miscellaneous clerical shipping work.
- Maintaining a safe, neat and organized workspace.
- Assisting other departments as needed.
Desired Skills
:
- Experience shipping with FedEx, DHL, UPS and USPS.
- Forklift certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis, This is a physically intensive job and you will be on your feet for the majority of the day.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment. We process a high volume of shipments every day of the week.
- Reliable transportation to our Commerce Warehouse and punctuality is a must.
- You will be working in a fully functioning and very fragrant candle studio. Please be advised that this job is not ideal for those with fragrance sensitivities.
