In this vital role you will be part of global commercial operations digital technology and innovation (GCO DTI).
This is your opportunity to partner with business leaders to deliver the latest technology, core transformation projects and support critical initiatives.
The technologist will contribute to the success of business outcomes by making fundamental improvements in how data and information is managed, business processes are operated and advise to efficiently achieve the integration and orchestration of all activities required for product development.
You will work as part of a product team chartered to deliver technology solutions to successfully drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities Have a deep understanding of pharmaceutical contracts and revenue management technologies, including chargebacks, managed care, channel, rebates & fees and master data management (products, pricing, contracts, customers and memberships), and drive for technical product development.
Work in Agile/SAFe product team as a product specialist.
Agile/SAFe events include backlog grooming, daily standups, sprint planning, and prioritization.
Align and encourage the product vision with Amgen cross-functional teams including systems integration, data and analytics and services.
Lead and review deliverables produced by data engineers and/or technical specialists on an ongoing basis and own end to end solutions.
Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve data analytics capabilities at Amgen.
Drive insights for contracts evaluation and discount recommendation.
Orchestrate efforts to drive the use of automation pipelines and testing in the DevOps framework to reach new standards of application automation Daily operational support to make sure systems are optimized to enable Amgen customers get accurate prices per products per contracts, all payers get accurate rebates and fees, and all wholesalers get accurate chargebacks.

Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Masters degree and 3 years of experience Or Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience Or Associates degree and 10 years of experience Or High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with focus on information system management, data management and integration Understanding of FDA regulations governing computer systems in biotech commercial areas Superb communication skills to work across and up through the organization, including escalation and mitigation of issues, risks, and business impacts.
Sophisticated problem-solving capabilities and ability to use constraints as opportunities Working understanding of Agile, Scrum, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup principles Experience with enterprise grade applications such as AWS, Databricks, Salesforce, Mulesoft, JIRA, Alteryx, Tableau and pharmaceutical revenue management systems such as Model N is a strong plus.
