Shipping & ReceivingBuena Park, CA (90620)Job ID#: 620143-6 monthsRate: $21/hr (W2)Job SummaryThe Shipping & Receiving Assistant prepares documentation, maintain records, and coordinates logistics for product shipment.Primary Responsibilities* Receive all incoming product. Inspect for shipping damage, verify count, verify Certificate of Conformity if required, fill out receiver, attach all required supplier documentation, deliver to appropriate location.* Package all outgoing product per customer specification. Ensure all required documentation is present including Carrier’s Bill of Landing, Packing List, Certificate of Conformity, Serialized Test Data, Customs Forms, and Air Worthiness Tags.* Pull the component quantities indicated by the pick list, verify correct revision, issue out of stock on the MRP system, and deliver to the proper location.* Verify lot numbers and/or serial numbers to each shipper and prepare labels as needed.* Check for appropriate Quality Control or Source Inspector sign-offs where appropriate.* Schedule pickups with carriers.* Conduct daily cycle counts.* Keep all shipping supplies and the Shipping Department neat, clean, and organized at all times.* Batch shipments daily.* Create and update packaging cards as needed.* Provide other assistance as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor.Qualifications/Education/Previous Experience Requirements* Warehouse experience preferred* Must be able to read and write and possess basic mathematical skills* Must be comfortable working independently or as a member of a team* Basic Windows OS skills* Capable of sitting and standing to perform for up to 2 hours in between breaks* Lifting and squatting requirement of up to 30 pounds* High school diploma or GED at a minimum____________________________________________________________________Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
