Shipping Coordinator

Role Objective

The Shipping Coordinator will conduct all the activities related to staging, receiving, moving, handling and transferring components, raw materials, finish goods and sub assembles as well as the required transactions and material moves in the system.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manages and Logs Finish Goods Inventory on Master Shipping List.
  2. Coordinates space for overflow of Finish Goods.
  3. Data entry for ERP system.
  4. Prepares Pallets per customer requirements.
  5. Prints Pallet Labels using Label View.
  6. Prepares Packing Slip (Internal and Customer requirements)
  7. Prepares Bill of Lading.
  8. Contact Customer with details to schedule Pick-ups.
  9. Direct Contact with Customer Forwarders to schedule pick-ups.
  10. Create ASN in Customer Portals.
  11. Book Shipments on Customer Portals.
  12. Loads outgoing shipments.
  13. Records all outgoing shipments on Shipment Log.
  14. Keeps electronic files for all paperwork associated to all outgoing shipments (Tags, Packing Slip and BOL).
  15. Manages Waste & Hazardous Waste. (Including recycle of Pallets)
  16. Operate forklifts, electric and manual pallet jack to move freight.
  17. Helps to unload incoming shipments when necessary.
  18. Unload incoming materials transfers from secondary Warehouse.
  1. Other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

 

Skills & Qualifications

 

  1. Must have in experience in Contract Manufacture with experience with BIG FIVE Cosmetic Companies and Influencers Brands, EDI as well TMS/Portals.
  2. Excellent Accuracy & Attention to detail and critical thinking
  3. Excellent Communication Skills, Computer Skills and Customer Service skills
  4. Problem-Solving skills, Leadership, Time-management
  5. MUST have Forklift Certification
  6. Ability to lift over 50 Lbs.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred), or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant Shipping Coordinator experience.
