Job Overview: Prepares and receives shipments, including all required documentation for compliance to US DOT regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties: Performs all job assignments in a safe manner according to Airgas SOPs.
Scraping, labeling and painting of cylinders Moving of cylinders by usage of a cylinder cart and/ or forklift.
Load and unloading of trucks Match up receiving returns with common carrier paperwork Make sure all documentation matches cylinders Make sure cylinders go out in a neat and presentable condition Cylinder sorting Basic knowledge of CFR 49 Keep a clean and orderly work area Understanding Special permits Basic computer operations for data entry and training Utilizing basic calculations Other duties as assigned.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) or equivalent software.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to work all shifts; subject to all weather conditions.
