Job Summary:
The Service Contract Operations Specialist is responsible for daily contract administration activities for service contracts. This includes coordinating contract bookings, conducting regular contract audits, performing contract reconciliations, and managing ongoing training for the coordinators and other groups who interact with the Contract Operations department. The role will primarily be focused on specialized tasks within Contract Operations focused on improving contract billing procedures and ensuring operational processes are documented and distributed. The individual will serve as the operational expert for both SAP and the Guardian Contract Management System.

Review booking & post-booking contracts for errors
Audit all contracts on a regular basis & report on audit findings
Review contract reporting – SVRs, Inventory Report, and Product Coverage for data issues
Identify areas of contract booking process improvement
Guardian / SAP Technical

Serve as the department technical lead & proactively learn new functionality & systems
Collaborate with IT on changes/defects & report & track changes to the resolution
Identify new Guardian functionality to support the service operations business
Documentation / Training

Provide cross-training for peers in order to improve the quality & efficiency of their work
Ensure that coordinators are fully trained in the Guardian system
Responsible for ongoing maintenance & development of Guardian documentation
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s in business, finance, or similar
- Advanced skills in analysis in SAP, Excel, and similar applications
- 4-plus years of work experience in operations desired; Experience within the KS organization helpful
- Possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Attributes and Skills Required:
- Strong operational and project management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of management
- Ability to work with all levels of staff and management as a self-starter and in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize own work and projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to work very flexible and long hours as required
