Fine dining is a critical part of the Hillcrest Country Club mission. From Host/Hostess, to Busser, to Food Runner and Server, our team is made of customer service experts who take responsibility for the entire member experience in our dining room. They have strong communication skills and coordinate effectively, working as a team to meet member needs and create lasting memories. Hosts and Hostesses are experts at engaging Hillcrest Members and their guests as they arrive to dine; Bussers assist Food Servers by maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room, and adequate supplies of clean utensils, china, glassware, butter, ice and water, re-setting cleared tables according to Club standards and serving as part of the team that handles physical set-up, preparation and tear-down for all banquet events. Food Runners deliver food to members and guests at their table, ensuring the orders are correct, complete, and to the specifications of the menu and any special requests. All can grow to become Dining Room Servers who are the most constant point of contact with our members. Servers set quality tables and serve first class meals to Club members and guests according to well-established rules of etiquette. All recognize the importance of their roles, view no task as insignificant and take pride in providing outstanding service and contributing to the success of the team and the Club as a whole.
