We are looking to hire a Senior Technical Product Specialist to work remotely in support of the Western United States territory.
Ideal locations would be Los Angeles, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Denver, CO, Salt Lake City, UT; Seattle, WA; Portland, OR.
Other locations close to an airport for ease of travel would also be acceptable.

Product and material technical expertise related to application, training, claims & complaints, and the construction industry.
The Senior Technical Product Specialist is the “person most knowledgeable” within Master Builders Solutions, Construction Systems (MBS) regarding the use of our materials.
Ensure that any issues related to the application and field performance of our products is understood and communicated.
Responsibility includes all industries, brands, market segments and geography into which our products are sold.
Support of our sales team, and customers is the paramount activity.
Support of our business within cross-functional team activity is also a critical activity.

Product application and performance knowledge Ensure consistent quality exists for product line Maintain a practical ability to apply our products, under various climactic conditions Inform business of potential product quality issues and how they relate to application and performance Work closely with Product Managers, R&D and QE to diagnose and manage product complaints and claims Product training for internal and external customers, and sales team Prepare, maintain and continuously improve a series of “off-the-shelf” training packages for our product line.
Solicit and integrate commercial input into training program Utilize the most common and modern techniques as common elements of the training Customer product complaint and claims management Customer technical support Jobsite inspections and recommendations Generic information in response to written/telephone inquiries Classroom training On-site training Sales representative technical support Product application recommendations Coordination of testing requests Classroom and on-site training Obtain and compare published information Test critical performance characteristics Maintain a high level of product technical expertise Attend presentations/seminars to further technical knowledge Read, trade magazines, etc.
Maintain professional contacts by joining organizations, associations, etc.
Technical representative on associations, standards committees, etc Attend meetings and contribute to objectives of group Ensure company’s interests are well maintained
