Senior Subcontracts Associate I with Security Clearance

LinQuest is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Associate I to join our team at one of our offices in Los Angeles, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; Chantilly, VA; Dayton, Ohio or 100% remote. LinQuest is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to join our Subcontracts team to represent the company throughout the subcontract lifecycle (e.g., proposal evaluation, negotiation, award, subcontract execution and closeout). This position will involve a variety of business tasks that require analytical skills and close attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience managing Government Furnished Property. Must work with teammates across departments to ensure the completeness and accuracy of subcontract records. * Government Property Lead
* Reviews, drafts, and negotiates as necessary terms and conditions of non-disclosure and teaming agreements, subcontracts and other subcontract related documentation.
Small Business Plan creation
* Prepare and maintain subcontract files in accordance with approved purchasing system requirements.
* Responsible for advising and observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations related to subcontracts.
* Participate in internal and external discussions.
* Maintain contact with senior project management regarding subcontractor performance.
* Additional special projects as required.
* Ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position
Required Skills: * Experience managing Government Furnished Property
* Willingness to learn and grow
Preferred Skills: * Working knowledge of any MRP system
* Working knowledge of the proposal process
Required Experience: * Bachelor’s degree – please highlight any additional training in contracting or subcontracting.
* Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations
* Ability to work within tight deadlines, and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
* Strong interpersonal skills and sound business judgment.
* Strong writing skills in order to prepare reports and other necessary documents.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the Internet
* Prior CPSR audit experience.
Preferred Experience: * Previous contracting, subcontracting or buying experience
* Legal education/training or other legal experience
* CostPoint experience a major plus
Compensation: * The starting salary for this position ranges from $ 70,000 – $85,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications
