Senior Product and Technical Trainer

This is a Contract position in Los Angeles, CA posted January 13, 2022.

The Senior Product and Technical Trainer will partner with product owners, marketing and business leaders in Acxiom’s Delivery organization to develop the training strategy for Acxiom’s key products and solutions.

This individual will coordinate and/or deliver training to Acxiom Delivery Associates in both virtual and in-classroom environments.

In this capacity, you will become a subject matter expert and evangelist for Acxiom product(s) and services and will be responsible for ensuring training participants can effectively use, administer, and configure Acxiom products at the conclusion of the training.

This role will also work closely with the Sales Training Manager who has responsibility for sales and client-facing roles training, as the overall training plans should be cohesive.

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Consult with business leaders, product owners, marketing and other Talent Development resources to determine and forecast training needs
– Develop training strategy and curriculum to include a mix of instructor-led, on-demand, or other resources
– Deliver product and technical training to Acxiom Delivery associates in both a virtual (majority of the time) and classroom environment OR coordinate with product or other subject matter experts to deliver training, as applicable for each situation.

– Own the administration and management of the training lab environment(s)
– Manage all elements of assigned classes (presenters, registration, logistics, attendance, setup, assessments, office hours, etc.)
– Become a Subject Matter Expert in training for Acxiom products and services as well as the application/value of those products to the business domain of Acxiom’s customers
– Update and customize course curriculum and labs as needed
– Measure the effectiveness of training REQUIREMENTS
– Experience training others on how to administer, configure, and integrate enterprise software products
– Direct experience using or administering Acxiom products OR similar marketing technology solutions such as customer data management platforms and consumer marketing technology solutions.

– Technical skills and knowledge of key concepts to support Acxiom’s products (SQL, relational database/big data, etc.)
– Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated aptitude for speaking to both a technical audience and a business user audience.

– Flexible, collaborative, team-oriented individual who shows initiative and holds themselves accountable.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience NICE TO HAVE
– Knowledge and understanding of Adtec and Martec ecosystem, technology and platforms (i.e., CDPs, DMPs, programmatic media buying, cookies, tags, etc)
– Experience with public cloud solutions such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and underlying technologies (i.e., Spark, Snowflake, Databricks, Qubole)
– Experience maintaining curriculum and labs or maintaining technical documentation
– Experience with marketing, analytics, and campaign management systems
– Experience with e-learning content development software (Captivate, Camtasia, etc.)
