Make Your Mark:

The Sr. Compensation Analyst partners with the People team and business to advise on compensation philosophy and guidelines. Responsibilities include supporting salary planning and administration globally, including the merit increase process, job evaluations and variable compensation.

This senior analyst will also participate in salary and market surveys and analysis of the resulting data, pay equity, and preparing market and trend reporting for senior management and other audiences.

You’ll Get To:

  • Assists in the development and implementation of global salary administration, compensation policies & practices, and variable pay plans.
  • Acts as a main contact for day-to-day compensation matters.
  • Reviews proposed salary adjustments for promotions, relocation, and/or equity and makes recommendations to ensure alignment with market, internal equity, and compensation philosophy.
  • Evaluates job descriptions with BlackLine’s Methodology and knowledge of organizational structure.
  • Develops custom reports and in-depth analyses, providing HR-related insights to senior leadership.
  • Compiles global salary survey submission files, performs global job matching, manages global salary structure creation and maintenance.
  • Develops, analyzes, and maintains complex Excel reports to support data analysis.
  • Collaborates with Manager, Global Compensation and HR Technology on end-to-end organization of the annual compensation cycle.
  • Performs necessary data validations, both, leading up to the annual cycle and during the final stages
  • Prepares reports for merit, promotion, bonus, and equity budget planning
  • Participates in UAT sessions, testing for various scenarios and providing feedback to HR, Technology
  • Administers Compensation Module in SuccessFactors
  • Partners with HR and managers, providing guidance on system usage and compensation best practices
  • Delivers final analysis of compensation cycle metrics (e.g., budget v. spend) for senior leadership

What You’ll Bring:

Years of experience: 5+ years in Human Resources or compensation

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field (HR, Finance, or Math related preferred)

Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of compensation practices and theory
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with HRIS, SuccessFactors preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with job evaluation methodologies

Salary Range:

USD $92,700.00/Yr. – USD $131,600.00/Yr.

Pay Transparency Statement:

Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant’s prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
