Job Description Summary: We are looking for an experienced analytics professional to make an immediate impact.
The ideal candidate is experienced with both business and product analytics.
About You:
* You find data-driven answers to business questions that drive the product roadmap
* You are analytical, detail-oriented, and creative
* You set the standard for accuracy and support your colleagues in meeting it
* You always double-check to confirm that the result you calculate is reasonable
* You are results-oriented, fast, and independent
The Role:
* Measure and report the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business, accommodating for imperfect datasets
* Utilize automation, particularly with Looker, to empower stakeholders to monitor KPIs
* Build models to forecast business activity to support financial projections and labor planning
* Clearly document your assumptions and calculations for peer review
* Define and reinforce best practices for cleansing datasets
Requirements:
* Degree in a quantitative discipline such as engineering, physics, economics, or mathematics
* 7+ years experience analyzing large, multidimensional datasets
* Fluent in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau
* Excellent communication of results in a concise, visual way that is easily understood by executives
* Prior experience in business analytics is preferred
* An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred
* Prior experience in ecommerce is helpful
