AKIMA Data Management is currently seeking a Security Specialist Generalist Level II to join the team and their responsibility will include but not limited to the following: Job Responsibilities: Key Experience: Possess integrated security services skill sets in the following areas: Special Security Officer (SSO) Operations; Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) operations; SCI Personnel Security; SCI Information Security; SCI Physical Security; SCI TEMPEST; and SCI Industrial Security Key Experience: Familiarity with Operations Security (OPSEC), security declassification, and security requirements before releasing Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or Classified Military Information (CMI) to a foreign entity Key Experience: Knowledge of personnel security administration requirements, Office of Personnel Management (OPM) clearance procedures, and Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) Key Experience: e-QIP and Defense information System for Security (DISS) or follow-on systems, and Scattered Castles.
Key Experience: Experience working with Automatic and Mandatory Declassification Programs Key Experience: Knowledge of OPSEC and related basic security principles, concepts, policy, procedures, and methodology, in addition to the necessary skills required to apply this knowledge and provide security advice, and assistance on a wide range of security issues Knowledge of skills needed to perform personnel, physical, and information security work Communicates clearly orally and in writing Excellent writing, teaching, briefing skills; works well on a staff of Government and contractors
