Security Program Specialist, Training

We’re looking for a Security Program Specialist (CSO Training Program Facilitator) to join our Global Security team!

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as a Global Security Team representative for identifying training needs, implementing, coordinating and administering the Campus Security Officer training and proficiency program. 

  • Coordinate and implement training and proficiency standards to meet the Global Security Team objectives, key results, goals and expectations. 

  • Review, maintain, administer and evaluate the Campus Security Officer standard operating procedures, monitoring onsite & post performance behavior and results.

  • Support and administer drills, exercises and briefing training to reinforce policies, introduce new concepts and test for understanding. 

  • Continuously review the training program and present recommendations to Global Security Leadership. 

  • Support budgets, CSO inventory, tools & accessories along with vendor relationships as assigned by Global Security Leadership. 

  • Work with department leadership to identify and recommend components to support and advance the Global Security Awareness Program. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge and familiarity with the Campus Security Officer processes, procedures and technology systems. 

  • Basic understanding of Incident Response, Incident Management, Crisis Management and Emergency Response.

  • Basic understanding of adult learning and training program elements.

  • Demonstrated understanding of BSIS compliance requirements for a private patrol operator.

  • Experience working in the security, medical, emergency services, law enforcement, military, or customer service industry is preferred.

  • Strong time management, ability to multitask, and attention to detail capabilities.

  • Ability to master the company’s computer based technologies.

  • Ability to work comfortably in a team environment, as well as individually.

  • Ability to lift up to 20.5 lbs.

    to support emergency response or relocation.

  • Ability stay on your feet for extended periods to time for Incident Management or support to GOC & Campus Security Operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED or equivalent years of experience.

  • 1+ year of experience in a corporate security environment with a focus on training.

  • Ability to lift up to 20.5 lbs.

    to support emergency response or relocation.

  • Ability to stay on your feet for extended periods of time for Incident Management or support to Event Security.

  • Current CPR and Basic First Aid certification.

  • Ability to work non-traditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends to support our 24/7 operation.

  • The flexibility to work a rotating schedule as needed to attend and/or conduct meetings and training sessions for all CSO shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of employment as a Snap Inc Campus Security Officer team operating at the Subject Matter Specialist Level.

  • 2+ years of experience working with adult learners and learning management systems.
