Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Pasadena, CA
Environment: Commercial/Radio Station
Pay Rate: $15.00 an hour
General Job Functions: Report Writing, Customer Service, Foot Patrol
Shift & Hours: Saturday – Tuesday, 11:00pm – 7:30am and Wednesday, 12:00am – 7:30am

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:
- Keep detailed logs and complete reports as required.
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients Stand post and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
- Access control to client site or facility through the admittance process.
- Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
- Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
- Respond quickly to critical situations
- Ability to read and write detailed reports
- Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:
- A valid California Guard Card is required, and 40 hours BSIS Certificates
- Candidate must be 21 years or older
- Minimum of 2 years previous security experience highly preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate level computer skills
General Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include:
- Possess High School diploma or GED
- Pass an extensive screening process
