Functional Role: Security Analyst / Security Engineer

Location: Hermosa Beach, CA (remote right now but would like this person onsite 1x per week) potentially open to fully remote but within 2 hour PST time zone

Salary Range: 120,000 (DOE depending on experience)

Security Analyst / Security Engineer

Our client is rapidly growing looking to expand their team. This client has several cool projects, and each engineer can choose their place on where they fit in with these projects. The client is in the Private Equity space. The ideal person will have workspace one experience. Top Must Have Skills:

  • Okta – management level
  • Beyond Trust – management level
  • LastPass – management level
  • CrowdStrike – management level
  • Cisco ASA – management level
  • Experience running Table Top exercises

Experience level: 3yrs + Security coming from network/systems

 

Responsibilities:

Daily high-level maintenance of the following: 

  • OKTA and LastPass – will need to know how to manage it form a high level – things are documented but will need some previous background on how this looks
  • High-level support for CrowdStrike – has already been implemented but this role is the POC who is adjusting USB policies for white listing (HFCU has managed services with CrowdStrike so they are there for support)
  • Active Directory:
  • File share infrastructure – a lot is set up, just ongoing maintenance if new things pop up
  • Security with group policy implementation, admin account restructure and higher level AD architecture
  • Beyond Trust which acts like a remote desktop gateway for IT Admin employees – this has already been implemented just ongoing maintenance needed
  • Firewall management – Cisco ASA
  • Vulnerability Management – addressing vulnerabilities and fixing them
  • Table top exercises for implementing new solutions and procedures

Additional skills needed:

  • Experience working closely with other Department Heads – (will need to work with each department on how to best roll out new policies etc. in each department)
  • Someone who can diplomatically break down concepts into bite size bits where the non-technical audience can understand
