We are further strengthening our security-related policies and applications, such as enforcing account policies throughout the company, and are hiring a second security engineer to join the team!
Responsibilities
- Establishment of security Governance, policy, and standards
- Establishment of information protection architecture across desktops, servers, databases and web applications
- Respond to cyber hacking incidents, and prevent security threats
- Regular CVE and CCE assessment of system, network, and application security
- Implementation of security requirements according to CIS Control / ISO 27001
- Research the latest threat trends and respond to security vulnerabilities
- Penetration testing, Simulation training, Security risk management
- Security training and awareness of security for employees
- Establishing and implementing privacy information protection processes
- Audit the security infrastructure in compliance with protection laws
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in information protection / cyber security
- Experience in building information protection governance
- CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) experience
- Security audit experience
- Understanding international standards for information security, such as CIS control, ISO27001, etc.
- Understanding privacy laws and international standards such as CCPA, CPRA, BS10012

Preferred Qualifications
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
- Skillful operation of security solutions and open-source platforms
- An overall understanding of the web, servers, networks, and databases
- Flexible communication skills with stakeholders
- Bilingual with English/Korean
Pay range: The pay for this position in Los Angeles, CA is between $72,000 – $120,000 (yr); however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
