Job Overview
Bloomingdale’s is seeking a highly energetic, Seasonal Support Colleague to join our Operations Team over the holiday season.
As a Bloomingdale’s Seasonal Support Colleague, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience through the appearance of our store; creating a neat, clean and organized shopping environment and ensuring merchandise is easily accessible to customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Deliver a high level of customer service and greet all customers
Organize merchandise by style, size and color on the selling floor and stockroom, upholding Bloomingdales high presentation standards
Replenish merchandise on the selling floor, creating an easy shopping experience
Proficient with technology to locate merchandise and fulfill online orders
Execute markdowns, RTVs, re-ticketing merchandise and processing damages
Locate pre-sold merchandise for customers as needed
Qualifications and Competencies:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
Physical Requirements:
Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, color vision and climbing ladders
Frequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job duties, including handheld electronic equipment.
