We take great pride in ” Our People” andbelieve they are our greatest asset.Affordable Medical, Vision, and DentalLife and Disability Insurance401k Profit-Sharing PlanPTO (Paid Time Off)Opportunity for a Safety and Reliability BonusGrowth Opportunities Duties and Responsibilities:Starts and observes machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and informs the lead person of discrepancies.Machine parts to required tolerances while meeting expected completion dates.Develop, track, and optimize machining parameters for different materials.Thoroughly inspects first part run.Meets job standard times with minimal supervision.Recognizes production problems and informs supervisor.Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using standard measuring tools.Reads and interprets manufacturing / Engineering drawings.Performs miscellaneous duties in the machine shop as directed.Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of equipment and procedures.
Required:Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.Able to wear appropriate PPE for mechanical testing and machine shop environment.Works independently, follow instructions, can concentrate for long periods of time.Team player with a can-do attitude.
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:5 years’ mill experience in the manufacturing industry with knowledge of speeds and feedsProficiency with typical precision measurement tools such as dial indicators, bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other common inspection tools.Experience with MS applicationsStrong skills and aptitude in mathCompletion of vocational or college training in machine shop (Certificate of Completion of basic machining course.) ITAR REQUIREMENTS:To conform to U.S.
Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S.
citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C.
1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S.
Department of State.

Work Environment:A large percentage of work time is spent in a machine shop where temperatures vary from hot to cold.
